Same problem here.
It's also irritating when you put a big amplifier after the mixer and you aren't playing music.

I think the best solution is to ground the mixer. Cause when I mix without any shoes on I get the static electricity, and the not the excitement I want when I dj.
However I also have a question about the grounding. I just a connection to de ground of the net OK? Or do I have to put a resistance on the way to the ground of the net?

Anyone?

That sound's like a problem with the power supply ground at the place you are plugging your equipment into. If the ground was run/connected correctly, you wouldn't be feeling "static electricity" when not wearing shoes. In North America we have a small cheap power checker that will test for proper grounding.

I don't know if they have something similar for you over there.

As for djmofasa's problem.... are you using a laptop/computer with a 3 or 2 prong power plug?
You never know what you'll find until you start....Image

If you hear a static noise or hum then you need to check for proper system grounding.

Yes, mixers should always we grounded to protection earth. Many mixer manufactures don’t do this from factory. Never use resistors in your grounding path because that will lift the grounding effect. It is even dangerous to do that because you’re introducing additional resistance in the path. Remember that electricity will always follow the path with the least resistance.

Thanks palls.

Then I'm simply put a wire between the mixer and the ground of my net.

The manufacturers of denon should be aware of this problem.
