Update question..

Update question..

When I load my update cd into the deck all i get is a "Disk error" what do i have to do to? I know on the dn-1200 you had to turn it off and hold some buttons. What do i have to do with the 3000??

I went out and bought cd rw like you said , created a new iso up date but I still get the same error message on the screen "Disk error"

You do not create an ISO image.... you burn/finalize the disc as a simple data disc with just the BIN file on it.

(did you read the PDF instructions that were included with the update download?)

I followed the instructional video step by step, I download nero and did everything the instructional video did. Still disk error. The instructional video tells you to set it for iso etc....

Put the BIN file on the disc (nothing else). Burn the CD-RW as a data disc and then finalize it. Make sure you burn the disc at the slowest speed possible. That's why I suggested to use a CD-RW (they have slower burn speed ratings than CD-R's). Then test again.
