PC mix vs INT mix issues

Hi all,
I have the Denon MC-6000 for a short time and totally new in using Traktor and a controller. I am using the Denon with 2 x turntables (for analog vinyls, not for timecode) and a macbook pro. I purchased Traktor in early August and the version is 2.5.1. Last week I updated the MC-6000 to the most recent firmware. The mapping file is MC6000_MAP_V1020_TKP.tsi dated from 24.4.2012. I didn't downloaded/installed it, it was already there when I installed Traktor.
When I use Traktor in external mixing mode and MC-6000 in INT mix everything seems to work fine except that all EQ knobs and faders on the computer screen are not moving at all although the sound is responding to what I do on the Denon.
Any idea why this is happening ?
When I use Traktor in internal mixing mode and MC-6000 in PC mix I can't cue a track with the headphone. The headphone routing is following the master and pressing cue has strictly no effect. I tried to look into the routing options in Traktor but I couldn't find a setting to fix this.
Any suggestion to activate the headphone cue ?
For what reason would you use Traktor external vs internal mixing mode ?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I ran into the same problem but was able to fix it by changing the output routing in tractor. I believe the Main Output was set to 'front left/right' and the Monitor output was set to 'rear left/right'. give that a shot

Hi Andyraf,
Thx for your reply.
For the headphone cue issue, Traktor in internal mixing mode/Denon in PC mix, I tried following routings without success :
1.Output monitor :
L:front left
R:front right
Output master :
L:back left
R:back right
-------------------------------------------------------------
2.Output monitor :
L:back left
R:back right
Output master :
L:front left
R:front right
Thx for your reply.

I read somewhere in the forum, from my recollection I remember that in VDJ the PC Mix the screen knobs and sliders moves according to the controller, in int mix it doesn't move that what I was told when I ask VDJ or did I get it backward. I would assume that it does the same for traktor maybe I'm wrong I'm still learning traktor at the moment I'm using VDJ, will be switching to traktor soon once I get the mapping down right...:ugeek:
Also,
I haven't had issues with Mic yet.

As DJ~MMIMER said, in PC Mix you are using the software's mixer. That's why you see the eq knobs & slider's responding when you move it on the controller. Some people prefer the sound of the software's eq over the controller's or for full kill's etc.... When in INT Mix, you are using the built in mixer of the MC6000, therfore the knobs & slides etc.. don't move (that's how it's supposed to work). As for your headphone / cue issue, try checking the "CUE/MIX" knob within Traktor (Internal Mode/PC Mix). You might find that it's in the "MIX" position, which obviously will always just mimmic the master output and not give you any "CUE" as such.
